I ordered two brass light sockets with pull chains from China and hung them under two cord adapters. Whenever bright light is needed you just pull the chain. As an amateur the electrical wiring at both ends of the braided cord was tedious but it all works perfectly. With track lighting I can move the lights if I need them in another spot. I had two pendant lights that I wanted to hang over a dining room table and the junction box was not centered. A small section of track and these connectors made it all work. They were easy to connect and are holding up well. Very glad I found the solution!

They are a tad expensive for what they are, but with free shipping the value was there. (Posted on 5/10/2017)
