This bulb is the industry standard for track lighting and recessed lighting where a bright even, soft light is required. Unlike the the PAR30, the BR30 produces an even, pleasant, diffused beam of LED lighting. Use this bulb as a down light in home lighting for a pleasant, everyday light in kitchens, utility rooms, entry ways, closets and bathrooms. In track lighting, use it in beauty salons as it will not create harsh shadows, or where you want to have good quality warm light without the harsh effects of a PAR Light. Although our designers do recommend PAR30 lamps for lighting merchandise, the BR30 can be used most everywhere else.
