Suspended Track Lighting Supported T-Bar Clip

This is a special T-Bar connector for use with both track lighting and suspended track lighting. We sourced it for our suspension system but found that in some cities it is required when you hang track lighting direct from a T-bar ceiling. In some cases this has to be used so the track lighting power bars are actually suspended from the hard ceiling above the drop ceiling. In addition the bolt (provided) is a 1/4-20 and the holes in the power track are a little smaller. You will have to drill them out slightly to allow the bolt to go through the track. Is not a problem as you can drill the track where needed. The part does NOT come with a nut, you will have to source it from your local hardware store. In the suspension system there is a part that will screw on to this, so you will not need the nut. Contact us with questions. Plan ahead, and give yourself some time to inspect all the parts before you start your installation. One more note, if you have a drop ceiling use a offset power feed to feed power to your track. This will save you a lot of grief. Use part number TLSK137. This part only comes in silver, we have found that the black one is made from substandard metal and will not open and close correctly and cause undo problems on the job site. Watch out for these.
