This solved a problem on a light fixture that I ordered that was missing the grippers. The gripper itself is well made, looks nice, grips perfectly. It does its job very well. The only think to be aware of is that the thread is not a standard US or metric thread, so I couldn't find a nut to work for it. Maybe it's a 1/8 pipe thread? I ended up making it work with some other hardware. Other than that, this is a good part. (Posted on 7/14/2022)

Super easy to use and allows bidirectional adjustment from one side which some cheaper ones don't. Good stuff and no slipping. (Posted on 4/1/2020)
