A life saver to find these -- opened up the possibilities for non-track pendants that could be adapted to H-track lighting. Found the perfect pendants, cut and re-wired to these adapters and voila! These should be widely available but, strangely, I only found them here at Total Track. (Posted on 10/9/2023)

5 stars on all of the above, but suggest a review of the wire connection layout for using the type H rail. My rail was made by Lithonia, and their pin/conductor layout has line/ground on the double pin side, with neutral on the single pin side. Your cord adapter had ground/neutral on the double pin side, with line on the single pin side. I went with the Lithonia layout, and the light seems to work fine. Please get together on what the actual layout should be. Someone is wrong here, and I'd hate for someone to get shocked as a result.

This is not something we have come across before. In our experience hot is always alone, not on the same side as the ground. To avoid this consider purchasing track components that are all the same
brand. That way you won't have to deal with compatibility issues.

First I didn't realize mine didn't come in white nor do I recall color options. It came in a satin metallic silver. That was no problem to paint it. It was easy to wire up and it does what I need it to do. I'm suprised the big box stores sell the track light rail to mount these but don't sell these to go in them. I was happy to find these so I bought a couple extra for my next project. (Posted on 2/15/2017)

I adapted these to hang pendant light rods for small Tiffany shades from track lighting. Between the cord adapter's good set of parts and those of the light kits, I was able to hang them perfectly -- two over the kitchen island and one higher up over the central kitchen area. I was determined to install pendant lighting in my dining room, but couldn't find the individual pendants I liked without sacrificing an arm or a leg to purchase them. With this device, I found a 3 pendant light that I disassembled to make 3 individual ones to install on my linear track. It was extremely easy to accomplish. The most challenging part was to get the proper cord length for my vaulted ceiling. I'm glad to have found your company because the satin nickel color is hard to find. These are great!! The selection of pendant lights for track lighting is very limited. We couldn't find anything that would give us the light we need over our work areas in the craft room without blinding us. I finally found this product elsewhere for almost twice the price...we needed 6 of them...ouch!! They were super easy to install... much easier than in ceiling instillation. Now we have EXACTLY the light we need where we need it and didn't have to break the bank. (Posted on 6/17/2016)
